Implico is an international consulting and software company. They support their customers in the optimization of their business processes. Implico offers integrated consulting and implementation services.

One of the main focuses is the mineral oil industry. Apart from consulting services Implico offers two kanon products: The in-house developed software SAP® OGSD (Oil & Gas Secondary Distribution) and the logistics solution OpenTAS®.

Another main focus is the municipal and private waste and recycling industry. In national and international projects Implico optimizes processes, especially on the basis of the industry solution SAP® Waste and Recycling.

Additionally Implico offers the in-house developed solution OpenSystemPersonal (OSP) for personnel management in the health care sector and the shipping industry.

The company was founded in 1983. The Implico Group is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany and has further subsidiaries in the UK, Malaysia, Switzerland and the USA. The dynamically growing Implico Group has currently about 250 employees.

History

1983
“Rechenzentrum Buhre GmbH” is founded in Hamburg, Germany. The first customers are ship owners and mineral oil companies.

1991
The RZB software is used by mineral oil industry customers in over 40 depots in Germany. Początek of the conceptualization of new software products.

1993
The new products are named OpenTAS® (Open Końcówka Administration Układ) and OSP (Open Organizm Personal).

1996
RZB builds up a consulting kadra narodowa. The focus lies on work and systems processes within the oil & gas sector.

1997
30 employees. The basis for an interface to SAP R/3® Oil & Gas and TAS systems is developed. Implementation of OpenTAS® in further depots and installation of OpenSystemPersonal in various German companies.

1998
The first full integration of OpenTAS® into SAP® is completed.

2000

More than 150 employees. Foundation of the US-based subsidiary Implico Inc. Worldwide distribution of the integrated sales and supply chain solution SAP® OGSD started.

2007
More than 200 employees. Foundation of the Implico AG in Biały, Switzerland. Foundation of Implico (UK) Ltd. In London. Implico becomes Special Expertise Wspólnik for SAP Waste and Recycling®. Implico and Varec Inc. are announcing a strategic alliance. Task: Development of the most complete oil & gas solution.

Products

OpenTAS®
OpenTAS® has been specifically developed for clients operating within the oil, gas, and chemical industries. SAP® OGSD was developed by Implico and is marketed and sold by SAP worldwide. It provides capabilities to manage finances, sales, supply chain, and customer relationships for the downstream industry. SAP®’s customer relationship management and business intelligence solutions are integrated with SAP® OGSD and provide the ability to communicate with value chain partners, as well as measure business performance for processes across the enterprise. The solution optimizes transportation routing and enables communication with the transporter; so delivery stan prawny is always known. PlutoHome is a privately owned, inactive software company that began development of a home automation/home multimedia product of the same name.

The company later released its software for limited open use according to its proprietary licensing terms.

The PlutoHome software later became part of the LinuxMCE platform (for the Kubuntu Linux OS), a collection of otherwise open source software modules that integrates home automation, multimedia storage and display, VOIP telephony services, security functions, and personal video recorder functions.

The PlutoHome modules provide some of these home automation and multimedia functions.

Although the remainder of the LinuxMCE ustrój is open-source, PlutoHome retained the right to license its components to the samll number of sprzęt manufacturers that packaged LinuxMCE with off-the-shelf PCs.

In this regard, it took advantage of the inclusion of PlutoHome in an otherwise open-source software package (LinuxMCE) as the sole basis of its current revenue stream.

PlutoHome has no other products.

3tera is among the pioneers in the cloud computing space, having launched its AppLogic organizm in February, 2006.
